Things I'm Loving

There's so many great books, clothes and products out there that it's easy to get overwhelmed! To help cut through the clutter, every few weeks I'll post a few products that I'm loving and I think you might love too!

Urban Decay Perversion

Urban Decay Perversion- This is my absolute favorite mascara. I’ve tried a ton of brands and haven’t found anything that I love as much as this. My lashes are super thick and long with this mascara. They look almost as good as false lashes but its way less work! The only thing that I’m not totally in love with is the fact that Urban Decay does not offer a waterproof version. If I’m worried that my mascara will run I’ve found that using the Perversion mascara to thicken and lengthen my lashes and then putting a quick coat of some water proof mascara over the top seems to do the trick. Urban Decay is more expensive than your drugstore mascaras but I’ve found it to be worth the price.

Root Candles

Root Candles- My mom got me Root candle as a gift a couple of weeks ago and I absolutely love it! She got me their Salted Caramel candle and it smells amazing! They have a ton of amazing fragrances and you can buy the candles in larger glass jars or adorable metal tins. All the candles are also made in America so go check it out!

Walgreens- So I know this is random, but seriously you should check out their photo department! About a month ago I needed a photo book for a gift and found myself in a time pinch.  I checked all my go to photo sites and none of them could get the book to me in a timely fashion without charging an arm and a leg for shipping.

On a whim I checked out Walgreens. I was able to get a 10 page 8.5x11 photo book for $17.99! Designing the book was easy with their online templates.  I was extremely pleased when I picked up the book from Walgreens. Not only did I not have to pay for shipping, they could have the book ready for pick up in as little as 2 hours. I was concerned about the quality since the price was so much lower than other online competitors (I’m looking at you Shutterfly), but I shouldn’t have worried. The book was hard cover and the pages were beautifully glossy and colorful.

Walgreens also seems to have a ton of great sales. I’ve seen prints for $0.10 a couple times, and they were running a promotion of 40% off any order when I purchased my photo book.
